I did have my moments of LOVE with this book. Chainire, for one, would rather have had the battle scene, than a brief and inadequate second hand account of it. The Sword of Truth series has become more political and philosophical as it has grown. In reality, contradictions cannot exist.

Every time Richard confronts another main character that had some association with Kahlan, he goes off chainfiee describe events that happened because of her or in their presence.

A return to form and my favorite in the series since the first book. It makes it feel rather boring and long-winded, and like we’re being lectured by the author. They seem to remember that the pages should not be blank but cannot remember what was originally written there. Severed Souls Book Upon arriving they find themselves in chainrire midst of a group of Imperial Order advanced scouts that have captured some of the people there.


To a person who hasn’t read the books in one fell sweep, this can be very useful. You don’t need to have people say the exact same things back and forth for seventeen years to get the point across. I wish you the best in your adventure of writing.

The end of the book was a surprise, as well. These books would be perfect without Richard and with an editor. From here on, Richard goes on a quest. NOW- for the story. As an added bonus, it seems that you could have simply skipped the last two books and not have missed a single thing.
